As the name suggests, it is about the artist dancing (or rather drawing) on a whim of the public. The artist was asking the visitors of a Shopping centre in Kingston upon Thames for description of a recent event and drawing on a column simultaneously.
A main objective is a creation of a community diary, a reflection on time, memory and shared experience.
The visitors giving their input were asked to think about what the imagined archaeologist of the XXVth century will find excavating the cities we’re living in. Will he investigate the „cave drawings“ on the pillars of the Bentall centre?
